I just gave this a quick clean and I think it actually sounds really good. Anything having to do with Bernie Grundman will at least be worth considering. The only real issue I have with the sound is the omnipresent "whoosh" noise that's present on any vinyl that's stored in a PVC sleeve, but I noticed it only during the silence between tracks. No crackles or pops or anything like that.

Interesting RSD release on a very poor pressing. Very noisy.

TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL. The copy I ordered online from my local record store had numerous wrinkles as well as a large air bubble on the B side. Have not bothered to listen to it as I will be sending it back. Totally unacceptable.

As a U2 collector this release was the lamest laziest piece of garbage....I waited until the inevitable eBay glut started to appear to get one for £15 ...and I was still ripped off ..but at least it wasn’t the £25 needed on RSD....what a shame ..they did a great job on the 11oClock Tock Tock and Boy reissues.

This sounds really bad. A lot of background noise. Luckily you don't hear this when the music kicks in. For fans only because of this reason. If you want to listen properly to this recordings listen tot it on the extra's on the October reissue

This is meant to be on your wall, not under your pickup. Very good looking, very poor sounding

Very shitty pressing like the comments under me said. I'll it that the music drowns out the crackles and pops but it still doesn't sound very good.

Would agree with previous reviewer- very snap crackle pop but that's the standard for these gimmicks. There are audio dynamics hiding behind the incredible track noise here so not entirely worthless - think quality on live side is better, ironically. This one, wow that's dreadful to look at - both sides, and the heavy poly cover is hideous - all the ones at RSD all had bad pre-folds you can't get rid of. I must confess I had no intention of buying this, but as is the norm, my independent store struggles to get any RSD stock from distributors so slim pickins. Note that all these items were previously available on the 2008 deluxe cd remasters.

Without doubt the worst sounding picture disc I have ever purchased ...absolutely terrible sound quality ...whoever pressed it should be fired.
