Reviews
-
Excellent sounding record, except that the EQ places Desmond’s sax out front, which slightly diminishes Brubeck’s piano when they switch solos back and forth. Otherwise, fantastic performance and the bass and drums are great. Among the most delightful jazz ensembles. They really know how to complement each other on all the tracks.
-
Terrible decision to leave Multnomah Blues off the vinyl version! One of two originals from the whole session and it's dedicated to the region - Multnomah.
-
Great job by the Brubeck family! Drums sounds amazing!
Very good recording, great details and instrument separation. -
Quality. Not an RSD cash grab which can be so common these days. Great sound and very quiet. No inner groove distortion. Comes with a poly lined inner sleeve and a heavy disc. Recommended.
