Heldon 5: UN REVE SANS CONSEQUENCE SPECIALE (named after the famous King Crimson bootleg) certainly took everyone by surprise, with its churning sequencers, crashing percussives, racy drums and entangled webs of agonisingly intense and fluid guitars, oozing layer upon layer of without ever really letting up; François Auger was certainly a boon, his mastery of drums and percussion amazing, not least so on the multi-layered percussion extravaganza Elephanta. Again Heldon had forged onto new realms.
