This record is a fave of mine in my collection. The build of classic synthesizers in the infrastructure of the tracks is one that takes the listener on a journey. Raw edged, yet accessible, it captures a time when synthesizers percolated and sequencers ruled, a timeless classic, proudly spun on my turntables along with similiar artists such as Klaus Shulze, Rus Stewart, and Tangerine Dream. Crystal Machine is one of those sensational live acts that everyone must hear, and more artists like these should be playing concerts everywhere...The perfect antidote to the boring 'boy-band' and cheesy 'pop-star' overload that is cheapening the music scene nowadays.
