I finally was able to add this fantastic album to my collection back in December after trying to get this one for forever and this press is amazing!
The green 'mint' color is super cool, and the packing is very great overall! The sound itself is fantastic! Very little surface noise, and the bass's are deep, and the keyboards and guitars sound so rich and vibrant! I much prefer the analog sound compared to the digital sound, and this record is one of those ones that makes the vinyl collecting hobby so worth it!
When I first listened to this album in 2022, I had no idea that it would send me down the musical-rabbit hole that it sent me down, and for that I am so grateful to own a vinyl copy of this album! If you are deciding on if you should pick this one up, DO IT if you can find it for a good price! -
Edited one month agoArrived today (3-May) from TTL. Vinyl is perfectly flat with no discernible surface noise and a very deep floor. The solos in Domino Line made my ears weep for joy.
Why can’t every pressing be this good? -
I have this and the orange Casiopea self titled repress. Both look amazing, packaging amazing(faithful and identical reproduction of the original packaging details) and sound perfectly remastered, bringing out more detail while preserving the dynamics and rich live sound that these albums are known for. 10/10

Edited 6 months agoInteresting that there were two reissues this year. I wonder why the pressing isnt listed?

Edited 6 months agoI will literally mail you my left testicle (or right, your choice) to purchase this pressing for retail price 😭

Edited 6 months agoEvery year this release is repressed, and every year the price skyrockets to ridiculous prices because they apparently aren’t pressing enough.

Edited 6 months agoI bought my copy in Japan and unfortunately there are several places where the record skips, most notably at the very beginning of Take Me, not even 2 seconds into the song! I love this album, but I fear that my copy has some serious issues

Edited 6 months agoGot my copy in the mail a while ago and cleaned it up, sounds very nice and dynamic. I did notice some sibilance in the drums during "Time Limit" and "Swear," but that may be because I'm using an elliptical stylus rather than a Shibata or micro-line stylus (the same thing happened when I played "Tears Of The Star" on my reissue copy of Casiopea). Upon close listening, this copy does appear to have the digital master glitching near the end of "Tears Of The Star," present on all re-releases of this album starting in 1987. It initially skipped near the end of "Swear" (by the end of the keyboard piano ditty) but after another playthrough with a slightly higher tracking force, the skipping seemed to be gone.
Overall, I say this reissue is alright given what I paid for (about $50 from Cromulent). It's better to play this using a Shibata or micro-line stylus to minimize any distortion. I wish they fixed the digital glitching in the master they used for this record.
