sounds great but more crackling groove noise than i would like despite ultrasonic cleaning. only tolerable because it's not as expensive as other reissues

Sorry i am very surprised by comment on this 2018 version i havé a small collection of 300 vinyls most of them first or second original pressing i bought Scenery yesterday and it is so boring feel like i put a cd it is flat no intensity no grain in the instrument so boring i dont know the TBM original version but i have Ako's dream on original TBM pressing and it is another world !!! In conclusion even for 25 euros it is not a good buy !!!

Agree with Facelift3 in that the superlatives are unwarranted.
LP is flat and glossy without any factory marks. Housed in anti static inner sleeve, no frills presentation but that's not why we're here.
An ok pressing. Mix is great and not overly bassy as some have stated. Semi frequent moments of bright shrillness. Surface noise is definitley here, pops and clicks throughout on both sides.
To me, this is worth having and is a better representation of Scenery than any hi res version availble through the streamers. Not without faults though as others have stated.

Ordered a discounted “damaged” copy from eBay for $14 and it arrived sealed and perfectly fine lol. Although this isn’t one of my favorite jazz albums or even in my top 20, this is a good record. That being said this pressing sounds great for the price. I’m sure the 180g feels sturdier but this plays great and sounds really good! No complaints here add me to the “this is a great pressing” gang -
Sounds very good but I would stop short at some of the superlatives people are giving it here…
If you want to hear a really good jazz pressing (drums especially), have a listen to blue note classic edition of moon rappin’ by jack Macduff. -
Great sound, one of the best records that I own, dead silent and very very high quality pressing.

Great music, great pressing. Not the best but OK. Lightweight vinyl and piano strikes sound a but tinny and doesn't resonate as well as those found on three blind mice records. Good easy listening piece

This is incredible. On par with the TBM reissues of Yamamoto Trio and Isao Suzuki. Dead silent and perfectly mixed and mastered.

must have in your collection! super clean sound. i think Cowboy Bebop was inspired by this album...
