Pretty decent soundstage but as others say it is a little flat and lacking clarity. Pretty mids heavy. You really gotta crank this one as it does sound pretty muffled at lower volumes. I also do have some QC issues, including an Off center side A and some crackle/non fill during get it faster. Other than that it’s pretty clean and warp free.
Will seek an original pressing but this is decently serviceable for the time being. Music of course is fantastic, which is why I bought it. -
Unfortunately this pressing is muffled and flat sounding. Would steer clear if you want to have a higher quality listen.

Edited 6 months agoI bought a copy in Manchester yesterday on the band's current tour for £30. Mind is dead centre so no issues there. It also came with a poly lined inner which is a nice touch. The record can probably do with a clean (as seems to be the case with most new records these days) but it plays really well. It's great hearing the opening track Bleed American with the volume cranked right up. It really kicks. 👌

Edited one year agoPicked up a copy from Acoustic Sounds and the center punch was off causing a dragging/warped sound. Exchanged that for another one and it had the same issue. This one is going back also…2 for 2, I’m not trying a third. Very shocked to see this poor quality coming from QRP…maybe they forgot “quality” is in the name of their company! :)
1/30/24 - Ordered a copy from Towerrecords and it plays perfectly. Avoid the QRP pressing. -
Sounds like it was pressed from the CD, which makes sense considering the master was likely lost in the 2008 fire.

sigh. pretty compressed. i may as well be streaming this. muffled and kinda flat. i also get rotational clicks throughout essentially the entirety of “hear you me” of all songs, of course. i destatic’d my record and cleaned it, and see no scratches. what a bummer. glad it only ran me $25. 3/5

My copy sound very good, but I notice the press was not very well center and the arm and needle are moving side to side. Sounds good, but I never seeing this before.

Edited 2 years agoThis is one of those albums I've heard on CD close to 100 times. This is a solid pressing, and I can hear some instrumentation that is new to me. However, the mix is very flat and mids-heavy, as well as a little quiet. Nice to have it on vinyl, but I think this one could have been a little better. I hope that someone gets a hold of the masters and makes a 2LP version one day, I would be all over that.

Maybe not as punchy as the first press, but great soundstage, clear and clean sounding instruments. Also very good vinyl quality. For the price, excellent copy
