Notes
This is the official Anniversary Edition of the Bathory Yellow Goat album. Only 100 have ever been pressed as stated by Black Mark Productions. This version was released by Black Mark Productions and Qrates. There are no markings that show this to be an edition of 100, none of the original markings are on the record such as the upside down cross, pentagram, and 666 but it does contain the matrix numbers 239617E1/A and 239617E2/A . The record in its original state should only come with a white paper sleeve with flat edges and the Yellow Goat cover. As stated by the company the music is from the original masters.

For all those talking crap: here you have the ripped song from this album, versus a regular pressing from 2014. Two things before anyone comments: "the original / a 2019 Asian release sounds better than this": do you own the original or at least an Asian bootleg to compare? Can you properly RIP an album? Then do it and post it, easier said than done.
Same settings to record both albums. You can clearly notice the compression in the standard version: it is louder, the sound is squashed, and you can hardly appreciate the dynamics.

Edited one year agoLet's start with the logo. It is totally incorrect. You do replica and couldn't do the band logo right? Side "Evil" band logo is not correct too. Some track titles like "Conspiracy" are not correct. Colour shade is not correct on rear cover. Sound quality is maybe (don't have heard it) fine as it's probably also sourced from the same 80's vinyl rip as the 2019 Asian editions which are great btw. The original master tapes for early Bathory are lost decades ago.

The record is flat and noiseless. As for the audio, it sounds like it was recorded from a snow-covered shallow grave with a five dollar Radioshack microphone...so in other words it sounds absolutely perfect.

Mine came in perfect condition. I'm saddened to see that for others it wasn't such a pleasant experience. Considering that the original version is crazy expensive, this is a good substitute for now ;)

I received two copies. One came mint, the other scuffed. Got a refund from Qrates. Just message and be prepared for show video and photo evidence of the skips/scratches/physical damage to the sleeve. Here is my last email from Qrates:
Hi Luke,
Thank you for your patience.
I'm afraid we're unable to replace the first order anymore as it is already sold out. We also apologize as it seems that we encountered an issue wherein customers can still add the record to cart even though that the stocks ran out. We've already reported this to our Development team and rest assured that this will be corrected. With this at hand, we have now canceled your order #228280 and issued a full refund. Depending on PayPal's processing time, it can take up to 5-10 working days to show up on your .
We're sorry for the inconvenience and please let us know if you need anything else.
Kind regards,
Jan Michael
