Edited 2 years agoI'm surprised at the quality of this record. The music is not to my liking, but I can recognize a good quality recording and pressing job. This pressing is top notch. Charli's voice comes through beautifully. Her voice is generally centered and the focus is fairly sharp - they do a great job of capturing her voice, I can understand all of her words, she has a very pretty voice.
The sound quality of this record does approach audiophile quality. The vinyl is very quiet, and the music leaps off the record with gusto. I'm not a fan of this singer, but if this is what she normally puts out, then I have to applaude her because this vinyl is just very well done. Excellent job all around.
The version I am listening to is the clear red marble variant. It really does sound very good. For sound quality, I am giving this 5 stars. -
Did anyone receive an email on May 11 2022 with an update on the exact variant? I purchased mine direct from the artists webstore. Here is a portion of the email sent:
'Due to ongoing supply chain issues outside of our control the label are only able to supply us with stock on the ‘Solid Red Marble’ vinyl format rather than the ‘Clear Red Marble’ you ordered.'
Is this the same variant? Just want to make sure I'm cataloguing my copy properly. -

despite being slightly warped, side A sounds crisp with little surface noise. side B has many pops though unfortunately. overall a decent sounding and pretty colored pressing

Fantastic album, very loud pressing, not a single bad track. Only confusion is that this is the red and black pressing, as labeled and marked, and mine is clearly purple??? I have a photo of it, it’s really strange.

sounds great, did arrive pretty dirty from the plant but a thorough wiping took care of most of the noise.
