03/10/25- Perfect record, zero discrepancies. Now I'm just waiting for Bombay the hard way 1 & 2. Then deltron 3030 will complete my DTA discography. What an amazing talent, some humans are utterly extraordinary! -
Today I received a copy and it has a matrix/runout code that I can't find on the releases already listed!
They are: 233386E1/A, 233386E1/B, 233386E2/A, 233386E2/B, printed, not hand etched.
Both records are barely warped but nothing serious, not off centered at all, practically zero surface noise and sounds really great! Anyone in the room with these printed runouts? -
Edited 10 months agoI should consider myself lucky cuz only side 1 is off center on my copy, and the rest of the records sound perfectly rich and warm, but still, it's a bit of a drag for such a cult album to have such a low quality control.
Records are more and more expensive these days, but pressing plants are way less talented than their 70s or 80s counterparts. Shame. -
My copy is flat, quiet and dope. I left my original press in storage back on the West Coast but this reissue sounds absolutely tits. Shout out to Plaid Room Records for their sweet sale. -
Wow, its ever more apparent they just can't cut records properly today. We rarely saw this in the many years leading up to the 00's, since when all the good pressing heads are near extinct, the the general knowledge of when & how to store the records after they are cut (to avoid warps) was lost & generally manufacture of all things on a global scale went to sh*t in favour of cheaper materials & methods/higher profit. -
Just managed to purchase a copy from Amazon US. My copy was fine. No warp, no off center, no dust or static. Perfect.
However, I do noticed that there was a small transparent sticker stuck at the back bottom right that says "Made In Czech Republic". Everything else was the exact same as per listed here.
I also do noticed 233386E1/A & 233386E2/A stamped on the first record and 233386E3/A & 233386E4/A stamped on the second record.
Could this be a new repressing of the turquoise indie colour? -

My copy has a jump in the start of Sex (I'm A), there is no visible blemish on the vinyl at all, have cleaned it multiple times, but can not clear it. Fucked. -
Spun mine and only side 3 played off center that didn't affect play...with a clamp i think the slight noise from the off center may be fixed. OVERALL an excellent play and pressing. Quiet as well with a quick roller clean. -
