Got mine from the recent DME restock, and it’s a pretty decent pressing. There’s definitely some surface noise present, but most of it doesn’t take away from the music for me. Overall I’m glad I was able to get a copy of this pressing.
-
Disappointed in my copy with random pops/clicks through out, even after thoroughly cleaned. Had similar issue with the Ratatouille soundtrack from Mondo. :(
-
Don't know what kind of equipment the rest of you are using but my copy sounds incredible...not a single pop or hiss at any part...really amazing presentation for an amazing OST.
-
On my copy, Side A sounds beautifully (thank goodness), However, side B not so much. It is way quieter on Side B and a lot of pops/clicks here and there.
-
Brilliant pressing by GZ. And despite all the people firing against this pressing plant: They have such a long history of learning how to do difficult color patterns. I feel they are pretty confident now to let a splatter pattern like this sound dead silent and how to operate their pretty special machines for variants like these. Love to see this kind of evolution in plants. And thanks, Mondo: I've been keeping the CD always here and was praying to the gods of Pixar to please give us a vinyl pressing - and not a picture disc. This is best news of the year. My personal Christmas present.

Edited 3 years agoNostalgia all over again. No pops or clicks, incredible release and the artwork is just out of this world. Taking me all back to the cinema as a little fella watching this movie for the first time. Class act from Mondo for the incredible looks and feel of the album. Sadly the clicks and pops on de D2 side are really heavy, for most of the tracks, but luckily the last track got saved. But hey, I can live with that. And praise Michael Giacchino’s for creating such incredible music. This will forever be part of my inner child. This was and shall always be the golden age of Disney!
-
Pretty but mine had lots of pops that cleaning didn’t take care of, and I’ve never had mondo vinyl with issues like this
-
beautiful record and is probably my favorite looking of my collection, but it is very noisy, and has plays low in some parts.
-
What a great score! Giacchino is so insanely good and this pressing was quiet. I see the other comments about it being noisy, but my copy was clean with no noise.
-
Edited 3 years agoSounds ridiculously good imo. No discernible pops or any surface noise through the whole album.
