Edited 3 years agoOk pressing. Miles better then Abbas original 70´s record. The only downside is its lacking a bit treble. Far from the worst pressings i have encountered
-
MPO pressing, very lightweight vinyl and whilst I think it sounds ok the record is slightly warped. This should of been at least a 180g pressing considering the retail price. I also bought the 45 single which was an MPO pressing and it arrived with a defect, so I certainly conclude as others have reviewed that MPO quality is poor.

Just finished listening to my copy after receiving it the mail...finally! The sound is not as bright and full sounding as it could be imo. Pressing is definitely quiet so no complaints there, but definitely not as good as it should or could be - even if it's a GM 1/2 speed mastering. I'm thinking it's a MPO issue - they're definitely not the most reliable in the industry. Hopefully the CD sounds better! I use a Technics SL-D2 TT and cartridge powered by an MCS 3233 amp/receiver and Technics 3-way SB-A35 speakers.
