perfect mixtool - solo quiet unprecious, but marvellous when combinated

In my opinion "Voyager" is one of the best techno/trance tracks of 1994. Not easy to mix due to heavy bassdrum and hihats. However, an outstanding and timeless floorfiller I put into my latest mixset http://www.mixcloud.com/PaulKatz/retrogressive-sessions-7-retrospect-is-our-middle-name/

One of Oliver Lieb's more forgotten works. I think the problem why this release only has slightly better than average votes is because of side B1 and B2 they are almost entirely tribal based tracks with little melody. Well, to be fairly honest "Voyage Bionico" has no melody it's almost all standard tribal samples and ethnical samples you only listened a standard techno beat playing on top in the 5 min mark. "Neon Jungle" is pretty boring. while the tribal percussion in the intro is welcomed it becomes boring since the track doesn't progress much and god, the melody in "Neon Jungle" is a string of crappy bleeps it becomes unbearable to listen late in the track. Not all is lost though. Side A1 which contains a track called "Voyager" is a very good techy hard trancer and while there isn't any super special about it. It's very well done and seriously outclasses the tribal bland crap in the B side. "Voyager" is the only reason why I rate this an average 3/5 if it wasn't good I would had rated it a 2/5. For the very cheap price.. not an entirely bad choice if your listening to oldskool trance / techno.
