I don’t know where to start. First track of side A and B is literally warped and with massive noise. Then it gets better (sound is incredibile). Side C and D LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE, vinyl is totally warped and the arm goes crazy when try to play this. Sad story: I ordered this on august ‘21 and opened and played just yesterday. I want to cry -
Ordered two. Both suffer from the same surface noise at the beginning of side A/B and C. D seems to be mostly ok.
Wet wash did not improve the situation.
The pressing itself does sound amazing when not distracted by the noise. -
Looks like my discs are pressed a little off-centre, tonearm sways noticeably on the A and D sides. -
Outstanding pressing! Great soundstage, with a punchy and tactile sound. I think I may like the music even more than their first LP

Going to echo what everybody here said and say that this is a fabulous pressing! Rich and dynamic, no noise. Play this loud and get lost in it! People seem to have been polarized since the Pitchfork review (really now?) but this is DARKSIDE in full electronic psychedelia. Nico’s recent stylings a la AAL could be heard all throughout. Dave’s guitars are nice and bright. Not as much of a ‘night album’ like Psychic. Listen in the daytime with some herb! -
Sounds incredible. VERY clear and punchy. There is so much going on in some of these songs it really is a pleasure to follow and hear everything so clearly. -
Man, this album is really something else. Sounds incredible. Dense and dynamic with so much intricate detail hidden in every corner of every track.
