Awesome mastering, clear separation and wide soundstage. That guitar, OMG, raw AF. Like watching it live. Rock on!
-
I’m a bit saddened by this. Record 1 was perfect but Record 2 was covered in about a hundred scratches on both sides. Luckily it’s not audible, but the record and etching look like someone threw it on the floor at the pressing plant a dozen times.
Considering LP1 was prefect in every way, I’m a bit disappointed. -

All of Lou’s RSD releases have been great. Nice to have this on vinyl after 25 years. Laughed imagining what 70’s Lou would say about all the “abrasive” & “chalkboard” chatter…
-
Holy Shit I must've been dead in 96 I have most Lou's even in 90's can't believe this one fell through the cracks. Took a gamble as not much luck with RSD records but man this is perfect clean quiet flat no problems at all came in nice poly lined black sleeves too.
And man is it ever good I agree one of Lou's best works do as says on liner Play It Loud. Crank It Up and Enjoy! -
Clean, quiet, sounds great. Always a roll of the dice with RSD releases, but this one delivers. High quality packaging too.

Edited 3 years agoI must have lucked out. Mine seems to have been pressed welly. It has very little background noise (a rarity for a new record nowadays), is perfectly centered, and sounds really good.
-
Well my first review was taken down so I'll get to the point... Did anyone have any issues with this record after taking it out of the jacket. Because my copy has a serious issue and now it's ruined. The LP was like a chalkboard and anything the inner sleeve a cleaning brush or dust rag or a cleaning machine with a vac sweep it would leave permanent marks on the LP...
