This is a desert island album for me, and this pressing sounds very good. Good choice considering the prices for original copies.

This is a great, under-appreciated album and a superb pressing. And whatever anyone says, 'like a possum' rocks!
-
Incredible record. This remastered version is very, very, very good. (I don't have the original but would like to compare them.)
I miss Lou. -
Gotta chirp in and say that this sounds perfect, only heard my cd before but the vinyl is clear and no surface noise at all
The album is of course great anyway.... -
Incredible album. In the running for the best solo record of Lou’s career. It’s incredible that he was releasing something this strong more than 30 years into his career. There’s not a bad moment, and a lot of incredible songs.

The other day I was desperate to go to the toilet so I had to run home after I got off the bus, when I finally got in the front door and started to go to the toilet, I pulled exactly the same face as Lou Reed is pulling on the front cover of this LP, I would love to know if Lou Reed was going to the toilet or not when they took his photo to use on the front cover, are there any Lou Reed fans who could tell me?
-
My EU copy of the 2019 RSD edition is perfectly silent. I never heard an original but this is pretty amazing.
-
I'm playing it now... I left the plastic on the cover and yes somehow they made the cover so you can fit those heavy LP's and the original sleeves. I like the fact this LP had such a reputation the fact of the German issue and the outrageous price ordeal they used the same labels. Which to me was like a play on the situation. This LP I wish was like all no noise no pops clicks crackles that stuff that's OBVIOUS in the vinyl not your imagination. This was pressed at Optimal Media GmbH and like Pallas cares.
-
The last Lou Reed record I purchased was New York in '89. From the run in on vinyl, this record is hooky, tough, and almost as cool as Lou himself!! He wasn't young by any stretch, but this lp has some angst aboard. Loose, but put down with the skill of a sharp shooter. GEMA vinyl pressing sounds clean and loud.
