My copy has some weird surface noise in the left channel only. I'm going to give it a thorough cleaning and hopefully that will clear up the issue. Otherwise, it sounds okay. Nothing spectacular but definitely acceptable.

Edited 7 months agoI have a new US issue (purchased October 2024) of what I believe is this LP, the barcode is the same, though print is slightly different. The label is the same as photographed here. The matrix runout is completely different, so wondering if this is a newer (i.e., different) re-issue. I may go ahead and create a new version.
Side 1: 19439-77737-1-A NRP J(in a small circle) (all etched)
Side 2: 19439-77737-1-B NRP J(in a small circle) (all etched)
Definitely does not have MPO, Kr or SST. I assume it is made by Noiseland based on NRP, but that is just speculation. The pressing sounds fabulous, very clean and dynamic. No Hype Sticker or card. Head scratcher here... -
At this price it should be in everyone's collection. No frills, but it sounds great, and the blue color is a nice touch. Hit after hit, this relatively short album is great to throw on anytime. Absolutely no complaints from me. I would consider giving this as a gift to anyone new to vinyl collecting. This will make them fall in love with the hobby

Edited 4 years agoMeh. My copy is quiet and flat but the sound is just okay. Compared it with an old 70s beater copy and that one destroys this one in of dynamics and punch. Would only recommend if you absolutely can't find a used vintage copy pressed from an analog master.

Came dirty so I ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner. Awesome pressing! The sound is full at the lower end and the guitars and vocals are clear and not too bright. The guitar solos power through! Very happy with this one - they did a good job.

Agreed with everybody else commenting below, mine sounds great. I had zero issues with mine and am very happy with the quality.

Sounds nice and a quiet pressing. The vinyl was dirty as heck and needed a cleaning. Not sure how it compared to an original but worth owning just for a clean copy.

This one sounds great! Very quiet pressing with no crackling. I don’t have an original to compare against but I’m very satisfied with this given the low price. No custom inner sleeve and flimsy outer. The matrix is identical to this release: https://www.discogs.sie.com/Boston-Boston/release/16213536
I haven’t ventured into editing release info yet but here is the matrix info:
Side 1: 20-0236NL-19439777371 A V+ SST [etched], 20-0236 A [stamped]
Side 2: 20-0236NL-19439777371 B V+ SST [etched], MPO 20 176284 [stamped]
[edited] This also included a card - it was stuck to the inside flap so I didn’t find it until June. -
