For some odd reason, my version has the album art is the etching instead of MCR on it. Is it a one off misprint? Anyone else have this issue?
-
I think it’s funny how many complaints there are about this considering this is Bellman cut, can’t imagine it sounding much better

The sound quality is not good, but other pressings of this masterpiece of an album are not good either, so choose one that serves your taste
This pressing sounds exactly like a 144p video, but it's GORGEOUS, the smoke effect look beautiful on a white slipmat -
Looking to buy just the sticker off of the record if anyone wants to sell me it or part with the UO sticker, DM me

Just realised that my copy of this album has the label incorrect on side 2 -
Instead of the side 2 label, it has a side 3 label. This means the labels on sides 2 and 3 match one another
The music itself is still correct, but this means that side 2 has a label that does not reflect the disk contents, and the contents aren't clearly listed elsewhere on the package.
Is such a misprint a one off, and listed here as a separate listing on discogs - or do others have the same? -
Edited 2 years agoThis sounds relatively alright for a digital master being pressed to vinyl. Unfortunately the sibilance on the hi-hats and cymbals make it sound a bit 128kbps mp3/YouTube stream quality, otherwise the vocals and other instruments sound good. Kind of annoying when pressing plants use less and less of the material for the coloring as the press goes on, mine barely has any "smoke" but that's neither here nor there, I guess.

UO is offering free shipping this wk through their app as well as $5 reward for g up for uo rewards and ing the app, just scored this for $26. Regardless of how it sounds, you cant beat the price

Doesn’t sound fantastic, but for what it is this is a really well done reissue. compared to my three cheers press and danger days pressings this is audiophile quality. The main reason this sounds so much better is it has life to it and demands your attention with a much more dynamic sound than the other mcr records I own which feel lifeless and dull. That being said, it’s not perfect and it can have a certain fuzzy quality to Gerard’s vocals and the pianos but it’s not a major issue. The Smokey vinyl looks really nice and the discs themselves are perfectly flat with zero surface noise. Overall not perfect but really good for what it is. It is an odd choice that they kept the 10th anniversary etching for this pressing even though this is years after but ut still looks cool. This is definitly worth your money but don’t pay the prices on here, as of June 2022 it is still in stock on UO’s website!

I'd personally say that the vinyl itself sounds great - zero surface noise, great pressing.
The etching is beautiful, and looks particularly great convinced with the Smokey transparent colour.
Great album, great sound.
