I really like the Kevin Gray cut (2016) but took a chance on this OG. Holy shit, this is better! More spacious soundstage and has an aggressive edge lacking in the remaster. [Tech specs in my profile].

Agree completely with everyone else on this one. Great press. Sound from this vinyl is top notch. Man I miss Tom Petty...

My Aunt had this hiding in her basement for years. She gave it to me and I am in awe of its condition and quality. Mint condition disc and sleeves, and, especially for a late 80s album, it's astounding how good this record sounds. Deep and bright and punchy. Pure joy.

Solid recording on my first US pressing. Great songs by 5 legends. I recall thinking that Petty was the odd man out early on, but of course he proved me wrong! Brought together by the Carl Perkins special.... back then?

Listened to this today, it has been probably at least 10 years or mores since I took the time (I must have been side tracked with grunge in the 90's). This really is a great sounding collection and collaboration of music legends. I have no idea why I haven't listened to it more often over the years because it still sounds thoroughly enjoyable & relevant to me.
