No sticker or code, but simple jacket with poly-lined inner sleeve, nice record with almost no debris from factory. It tends to pick up static little more than other records, but I think that will get sorted out in time.
Excellent sounding record, great package, would recommend.

My copy is flat, quiet, and centered. Excellent master / transfer to vinyl; the entire presentation just leaps off the media surface. One effect that is represented very well is the compression of vocals w/wide open backing instrumentation. Super clean and articulate end to end bangers...excellent reissue.

The resolution of the cover photo is bad. We also buy records for their covers. Otherwise, it is very easy to listen to them in the best sound quality digitally. You wouldn't expect a carefully made cover for a record released by Sony Music anyway.

I bought this cd when it came out in 2001 and have always loved this album. But I've honestly never heard it as good as this vinyl reissue. Hot damn what a great sounding reissue. The instruments come out clearer and better than ever before and I hear details and space that really makes this album a new listening experience for me. MOV really nailed this one. The only thing I miss are the pictures and info from the cd booklet. Otherwise, pressing, mastering and music is 5/5

The entire record is good. Every track is worth hearing. The vinyl itself is quiet having no pops or static sound. Flat. It's one I can pop on at any time.

Sounds great to my ears! Much more bassy than my original CD, but without losing the band's characteristically-abrasive detail. Pressing is also flat and quiet as can be. Somehow it now sounds even more like Doug Yule era VU than it did two decades ago.

i have the UK original, the later US pressing with the NRP-cut side A and welcome to 1979-cut side B, and this EU pressing from the MOV plates. the UK original is the most punchy and upfront, while this one has less grit but a wider soundstage. it's the smoother, more 'audiophile' one, but still excellent considering the price difference between this and the UK original (which i prefer). the US pressing is fine but nothing noteworthy (but side A on mine is really off-centre). excited to see how the VMP stacks up to these.

Recommend. I hear depth, openness, definition and dynamics. 4/5 only because they cut out some of the thumping of this record. I have to always add a slight amount of low-end on my EQ to feel an overall balanced sound. Also, on some tracks they lowered the quality/loudness a bit to make it fit in one disc.

Apart from that, this is a quiet pressing out of the box. It sounded better on loudspeakers than on headphones.

Last, I compared to the digital version on Spotify thinking it would sound similar but it didn't. With a quick a/b test you can hear this pressing has a richer sound than the digital.

I just bought a version that has this jacket, no mention of MoV anywhere, but based on the matrix in the dead wax they used the Music on Vinyl metalwork of this release https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/3499764-The-Strokes-Is-This-It to press the album.

Sounds very good. Not as good as the OP which is more vivid and jumps at you more, but I had to get this for the cover. Unfortunately without the portrait photos as on the inside of the OP gatefold. Now I have to keep both versions.
