I have variant 3 but the jacket is from a mono pressing with a gold “stereophonic” sticker in the top right. Has anyone encountered this before?

Just got this from my local record store yesterday for $13 the sleeve is in terrible condition but the record is near perfect. Before this I hadn't really listened to the Beatles much but this is amazing

The US album has 3 less tracks (all John Lennon compositions) than the UK version. These are (A3) - "I'm Only Sleeping", (B2) - "And Your Bird Can Sing", and (B4) - "Dr. Robert". Capitol did this in order to save on paying royalties per track, per album, as opposed to the UK where 1 royalty payment for the full album is split among the composers of the tracks. In my humble opinion, "I'm Only Sleeping" is the only good track of the trio that should have been left on the album. "Love You To", George's Indian composition, should have been excised instead as it is a weak track, just like the other 2 that got cut for eventual appearance on the Frankenstein album "Yesterday And Today".
