Listened to my original pressing today after not having listened to it in a hot minute. There’s definite surface noise during the quieter moments but it’s not as bad as I it being when it originally came out. I might have cleaned it at some point, but overall it sounds great and will probably sound fine if you wash yours, as well. -
I got this new on Amazon in 2009 for literally $13. It sounds absolutely terrible. Crackles all over the place. Every review you read is true. Just wait for a re-release... You don't need to spend $100 on it......

Sonido algo sucio, sobre todo en las primeras canciones, y que persiste incluso luego de haber lavado el disco. Es lamentable, porque este disco es excelente. De todas formas el sonido original de este álbum ya es algo sucio (no por nada se incluye el termino "Lo-Fi" dentro de los Estilos del disco). Sería genial una reedición que incluya las sesiones en vivo que, a mi parecer, son superiores que las versiones de estudio. -
stop paying so much for this album they will be repressing it very soon... cd version sound 10x better than lp! -
This pressing is one of the quietest I own and for that reason I barely play it. When the volume has to be that high to get it to sound loud, the tiniest pop/click (of which there are MANY) is startling and takes you out of the experience. Were it a clean pressing it wouldn’t be an issue, but even brand new out of the shrink it was a noisy yet quiet LP. Do not recommend -

Edited one year agoThe comments calling this release quiet are spot on. You really have to crank your system to get the volume up, which unfortunately also means surface noise is louder than usual. -
Purchased from new. Very noisy and crackly. Looking forward to the definitive version as I really like this album. -
Grunge + Emo fucked and had an industrial baby. This could be on repeat for hours and won't get old.
