An irresistibly incredibly infectious danceable skewed jerky angular fusion of pop, surf, avant-garde, punk & white funk that plays like a party & is a hell of a good time.
Brilliant pop. -

I bought this back in the day, with ''free''Rock Lobster demo seven, inner sleeve and would you believe a B52s 12 inch plastic back, that i have still got the this day, this by far one of me fav LP's I own")

I bought a second hand copy in the 90s and comparing to the US and the other British pressing, this one looks wonderful with the rounded-cornered cardboard inner sleeve, and the vinyl, even having some crackles and other noises, sounds fantastic.
I recently compared my copy to a friend's reissue and all I can say is my friend was outraged at how different (and worse!) his copy sounded.
This album has a very peculiar production style delivering a quite interesting retro sound that it's very pleasant to listen to, with the warm analogue keyboards and 60s surf-style Fender/Danelectro twangy tone that harkens back to Mid-Century Modern realm and the period where rock and roll developed into surf music, and in this UK edition that particular sound shines in all its glory. The songs are great for the most part and the production makes them even better.
I'd like to listen to other pressings to keep on comparing.
