I bought this thinking the pressing looks good and it would sound great but boy was I wrong.
There is a lot of static surface noise and the tracks skip a lot of the time and the official pressing of this album sounds so much better -
Please, I must beseech you, all those true denizens of the Beyhive. Please do NOT buy this album. As it is, so incredibly WHACK!! Instead, I urge you to buy the OFFICIAL limited heavyweight vinyl 4xLP box set + 52-page booklet in slip-case edition, which will be coming out so soon. Plus, all of the money from that edition will go to Beyonce, so she can continue to have only the very best pedicures to keep her beautiful and dainty feet, looking so wondrously sexy!! -
Edited 4 years agoDon't bother with this pressing. The sound is very poor and the gaps between tracks are very irritating. My copy skipped as well.
