5 stars, 5 stars!, FIVE STARS! This review is for the album, yes, but specifically for the 2019 vinyl remastered version. Leaving Home is a MASTERPIECE in every sense of the word. It is, in my opinion, the greatest electronic/psybient album ever produced. Spacey and airy, but grounded with fantastic beats and a playful, patient nature that treats you to an audible experience akin to that of a ionate lover. Magnus is an amazing musician and the song structures he creates on this album are a testament to every bit of his insane creativity and ability. If you are on the fence about this album, don't be. It's a no brainer. If you, in any way, appreciate the psybient genre, you absolutely need this album in your collection.
