Earache rereleases are shit.. I got this one for cheap so for the music and bonus tracks its good. But the packaging is weak and half assed.

Word to the wise... if you are a collector, please read before buying this digipack version. I decided to purchase this incredible album since it is indeed a classic and it contains 4 tracks from the Inhuman Condition EP.

First, allow me to tell you the positive of this version:
The sound is amazing. Everything from the original album to the bonus EP tracks sound massively heavy. According to the sticker on the wrapping it says these were all pressed from the original tapes.

        NOW FOR THE BAD:
I have been gaining lots of proven knowledge that earache is completely lazy, pompous, money grabbing ingrates who are in this business STRICTLY out of greed. Do the research for yourself. Now, earlier in the year I purchased the 2018 version (same year as this repress) of Napalm Death's Scum. I should have learned my lesson then. Packaging is a thin, cheap digipack, no lyrics, no booklet, no nothing. LAZY. The same thing printed on the inside of these two says to go to the earache website for the lyrics.

Uh, excuse me earache, but why in the hell would I, after purchasing a physical copy of an album, want to go back onto internet and search for lyrics? The point of buying physical media is to have everything in the packaging. You failed. I will never EVER buy from earache again. Complete insult to the fans and above all else, the artists. I hear that the bands have no say in how these are packaged. Congrats earache.

I am just outraged and feel insulted by that kind of releases. Just a shitty slim digipak is disgusting thing for price that high but still very common unfortunately.
BUT THE NOTE IN THE DIGIPAK SAYING "find lyrics at earache.com" is just a slap and spit in the face.
Why even bothering to give a CD there? Earache should just have give the one cardboard with note "GO FUCK YOURSELF AND LISTEN TO IT ON YOUTUBE OR SOMETHING, YOU LOOSER".
Don't you think people give you their hard earned money to get PHYSICAL stuff? Not to look for photos or lyrics on the internet. That's kind of the whole point of collecting.
          Shameful.
