It’s just not Ryo bruh, the trio as a whole is just insane. Every time the drummer goes into his solo I start levitating, and the same thing happened in scenery. All that’s left is for me to buy A letter from slow boat.

Standard half-speed copy with no obi. Zero surface noise. Excellent clarity and dynamics. Lovely. Highly recommended.

Picked up a copy of the standard pressing of this the other day... just put it on and have got nothing done since it started. Absolutely beautiful record! Amazing music, and the pressing is sublime. Exactly as records should be. Warm, rich, deep sound, flawless.
Truly a thing of beauty. -
I received a copy of the lighter weight reissue, no obi. Even after cleaning on a VPI my pressing included random surface noise. Overall audio quality is excellent but not up to the standards of some previous releases from this label. If you are sensitive to random surface notice on brand new albums you may want to think twice on this one. Others mentioned this being a flawless release but sadly my copy is not.

The previous comments calling this pressing "outstanding" and "flawless" are not overstating the case. Beautiful.

I have the 140g pressing ; the vinyl sounds perfect and flawless as said in this previous comment. The double bass is deep and present. Incredible. The 180g will have more value in the future I guess. Musically, I prefer "Scenery" as a whole album because "Mellow Dream" has too much upbeat moments and as a result is often very stressy and demanding. That being said, the version of "What's new" is so pleasant that you'll reach heaven and is worth the purchase of the LP.

The quality of this pressing is really outstanding. Amazing deep sound for both, piano and bass. 140g.
-
Correct. No obi strip and doesn't seem to be 180g either. Good thing I have the test pressing on the way.
