This should just be labeled a remix of Simple Minds' "New Gold Dream" (perhaps my favorite song of the 80's) and it was one of those affairs where "the first producer to use it" would have a definite hit (with extra points for the Dune sample per the title) -- massive sampling and lifting of older songs still being a somewhat novel concept in the early 90's. That being said, this is ridiculously fun and it is impossible for me to be in a bad mood after putting this on. -

Sample taken obviously from Simple Minds’ New Gold Dream - a classic itself and uplifting as a stand alone mesmeric and very danceable track. This is an early nineties re jig as it were. Total banger though 💥
Utah Saints had a go too - there’s was a bit stuffy -
