I listen to this when I need to feel something inside me begin to grow I must listen to Death grips I love death grips I am death grips. 3/5 -
Death Grips released what is essentially a meme album, with some of the most absurdist tracks to date on this full-length. From a more bleak and techno-futuristic style from TPTB and the electropunk/rock influenced Bottomless Pit, to the clown circus cyberpunk video-game noises and sounds approached on this record, it is a nice change of pace. Also I'm digging the Rolling Stones and Charles Manson references on this LP, deep lore. Easily some of the best albums of 2018, after multiple listens I have appreciated the entire record as a whole. CD quality is splendid. 7/10.
