2016 Grundman Remaster is excellent! To my ears, it's "warmer" than the 30th. The 30th has more presence. I've also compared the Grundman against an Odeon Japanese 1st. The Japanese first has more punch, more kick, just "more". So out of the 3, The Grundman is 3rd, but only ever slo slightly.

Stunning. Just put this up against my 30th. I’m going to give a tip of the hat to this one I’m sorry.
My MOFI is a different experience again. But this is hard to beat and great value compared to what you have to pay to chase that elusive fairy dusted first pressing and so on. Can’t criticise I’ve been just as guilty doing exactly that!! -
This is the one. I had purchased this same copy or so I thought but it was a EU pressing which had so much inner groove distortion it made it almost unlistenable. I decided to return it to Amazon (you didn’t really get a choice on what pressing you gonna get) and decided to track it down in the wild. Beautiful flat absolutely no noise, no inner groove distortions.. what an aural treat. Even better, I shelled out 30 bucks for this feather than $200+ for an OG… which someday I might do, but for now, this US 2016 pressing is outstanding. (Marantz receiver with ProjJect X2 tt)

This press is very solid! I mean, it better be with the monster that this album is! Zero skips or any other audible flaws. Each track flows perfectly into the next. The left/right stereo channels are balanced perfectly for all the effects you'll aurally encounter. A timeless album!

There is a 2022 reissue of this album with "Made in Czech Republic" on bottom left of the back cover that should not be confused with the original 2016 release. The sound quality of the 2022 version is inferior and should be avoided. I suspect some of the negative reviews here were actually based on the 2022 reissue.

I'm new to all this but my copy has a slight BII in both sides as follows: Side 1 - 88875184251-A BII 18010 4A BG
Side 2 - 88875184251-B 18010 4B BII BG. anyone else confirm it's there on their copy?

I try to make a habit of listening to this at least a few times a year. One of the greatest albums of all time, but we already know that. Alan Parsons did a fantastic job working on it as well.

Finally add some PF to my collection, couldn't have pick a better album to start. Quality pressing and wrap. Love the extras.

I'm very happy with this copy. I received it through the Amazon Vinyl of the Month Club (in the USA, which is actually worth the price, I was surprised.) Anyhoo, I love it. Great sound!
But, I have a question. The label reads "remastered from the "original analog master tapes". I would hope this means it is a true analog copy but is it AAA or? Does anyone know?
Thank you!
