Again and again I come back to enjoy this release. A truly great record that grows with time, and the treatment VMP gave this is definitely top drawer. Agree that a gatefold sleeve would be nice, but it is not a deal breaker for me at all. A really solid product that I highly recommend to anyone.

What a great pressing. As some others have said, it would have been nicer as a gatefold, but overall no complaints. It sounds great and looks great! Also didn't know Gwen's vocals were on South Side which was a cool surprise. Now I'm just curious exactly which parts Moby re-recorded for this edition.

Glad to own this release as I missed it first time around and what a great treat to listen to on my Orbit U-Turn.

Edited 5 years agoNice pressing BUT i checked / compared it to my original UK Mute copy. The sound of the the original has higher punch and volume for 100%. From the other side, the sound of the reissue is ALSO TOP!! But HONESTLY i don't know which has the "better" sound..!!?? I play my records on a PROJECT DEBUT III / Technics SUV 500 amplifier & B&W 100W DM 601.

This is definitely the most definitive pressing of this album yet, that is unless you care about Gwen's vocals on South Side. Despite not having a gatefold, everything is perfect from the inserts, sleeves, and most importantly, pressing quality. I'm one who generally critiques vinyl record clubs as a negative thing due to all the garbage most put out, but VMP is proof that it can be done right and with the quality record enthusiasts approve of.

I own the orginal pressing and I've compared the two pressings. VMP has done a great job! The VMP pressing sounds brigher and cleaner than the OG! The sleeve & logo are a bit off compared to the OG but when the overall the sound of the record is better, who cares!! The sound is more important to me. This pressing gets an A++!
