What a terrible effort on this bootleg with the cheesy "Coil" written on the cover. No respect what so ever for the artist....who specifically called this project Time Machines - not Coil.

Coil never ceases to surprise. It doesnt grow old and always brings a wonder, wether it is from the intuition appreciated into the music or by the technique employed and inventive. Time machines is a round into ambient drone with some obscure note behind, at times profound, at times suggestive and at some point overhelming.

Circumventing drones, oscillations and stripped atonal sounds encrypt a message of deep proportions. I was smoking a pipe while listening this and as i did i started to watch the moon and saw it accompanied by Jupiter and Venus, the light was ghostly and the whole patio surrounded by trees were hidden by shadows. The whole vision accompanied by the music told me something, made me feel something quite special, a vast cosmic perception and the movement of the bigger order of things, the special universal dimension in where we inhabit, mostly unaware, partly blind. It was just like an open gate of perception. I saw the movement of the astral planes moving through with the cadence of the music and yet everything enveloped into this aura of magic and power.

Coil never ceases to surprise, it was a time travel experience, a one for the instant and the infinite.
