My copy sounds wonderful! Surface noise only amounts to one or two pops per side, if any. Was hesitant to grab this on any format other than CD, but I'm incredibly pleased with my purchase.

I’m not usually interested in coloured pressings of records however, this record is absolutely gorgeous. It is a very quiet repress in comparison to the Dais’ 2021 black repress that was plagued with noise.

Time Machines is a phenomenal ambient drone record that was intended to replicate psychological meditative states that occur during the use of hallucinogenic substances. It is best listened with decent headphones to feel fully immersed in the experience and atmosphere.

It’s a classic ambient record on par with the brilliance of Aphex Twin’s SAW II.

Long shot but my copy came with two side c/d discs. Does anyone have an extra a/b?

Might be a boring take, but I would personally go with the colored clear variants instead of some kooky-looking splatter. Not only does it look meh, but you can actually hear the noise floor jumping around when the needle runs over the splatter streaks.

Any reports about the pressing quality of this art edition?

Holy shit! This pressing is soooooooo good. The packaging is on another level too, such attention to detail, but to hear the music so perfectly presented is a dream come true. A good trip is always guaranteed when you put the needle to this record.

How was this released and to whom was it made available? I had never heard of this until now.

I just received the plain black edition (Time Machines - Time Machines) in the mail from the Flenser. In my opinion the pressing sounds beautiful, nearly flawless on first listen. I would absolutely recommend it. Seem to be a more prevalent issue with colour editions, perhaps.
