Edited 8 months agoIt is strange how nowdays things are done careless and with a great lack of professionalism. As soon as I started listening to “I Believe In Father Christmas” (one of a more iconic songs of this album) beautifully sung by Greg Lake, I’ve noticed something weird. I then compared it with my 1st UK press and also the 1st Portuguese, and found out that the lead vocals is not there is this reissue. This song is double-tracked by Greg Lake. So what we get in this resmaster (I have no clue wich mix was used) is the vocal track with lots of reverb that appears of the left channel. On the originals we get the lead vocals (clean and suberb) on the front and a hint of the double track with reverb on the left channel. If you want to hear this song with all is splendour search for a first press or and early reissue and avoid this one.
