Great performance but it does lack punchy bass and the pressing has pops and crackles. I’ve run this through my Spin Clean and HumminGuru twice and did a hand wet clean on side 1, which was as the worst of the three. About a 70% improvement but still a bit noisy in spots. May check out the 50th anniversary release to see if it’s any better…but it is colored vinyl, which I’m not a fan of.

Would agree with other reviews its lacking bass however it is not lacking and certainly there. Otherwise i would say the concert is captured well. Its a live album. Its not a studio recording. Ultrasonic cleaned and sounded quiet with the odd minimal noise.

I was excited when I ran across this pressing in a record store and quickly looked it up on Discogs to see what the “Avg Rating” was and if there were any comments posted. Since it was highly rated I pulled the $30+ trigger. I’ve listened to both records, wet cleaned them and listened to both again. Sound is lacking bass/punch throughout most songs and has issues of not playing without ticks and pops in some quieter parts.
Mentioned before, this should have been made into 3 LP’s since they’ve crammed 30 minutes of music on each side and with that the sound (bass) quality had to go.
I listen to music the way God intended, high quality floor speakers and dual subs. I get that the “Avg Rating” on Discogs is more of a “guide” but come on, this one is rated way off. 3 stars is generous.
