Coltrane* – "Live" At The Village Vanguard

I returned my copy to Amazon. There was a low hum, as previously mentioned by others here before, running throughout the entire pressing. I find it hard to believe that not everyone notices this intrusive hum. To me, it's completely unacceptable, even though the vinyl record is otherwise flawless, with no clicks or surface noise.

Acoustic Sounds produces another perfect pressing of a live gem. Shocker! The sound is so intimate; Coltrane sounds beautiful, Dolphy's playing is right there with you, Jones' drumming sounds so personal, and Tyner + Garrison have plenty of space that make this mix just sounds so full and wonderful.

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of this pressing?

And I have a sealed copy of #1034, so it appears they did, at least at first, continue to number them beyond the d 1000.

According Google:
1948: N.V. Bovema opens record factory in Heemstede, at Binnenweg 72c. The factory is named N.V. Nederlandse Gramofoonplatenfabriek. (In the database as Nederlandse Gramofoonplatenfabriek Heemstede)
1956: N.V. Nederlandse Gramofoonplatenfabriek. moves to Blekersvaartweg 45, Heemstede
1964: Record factory N.V. Cruquius established by Mr. Duisterhof, located at Oude Kruisweg 26, Vijfhuizen
1970: EMI Bovema moves from Heemstede to Tulpenkade 1, Haarlem
1973: Cruquius is now located at Blekersvaartweg 45 (could have moved there earlier)
1974: EMI Bovema reportedly owns pressing plant Interdisk at Tulpenkade, Haarlem. (likely that's Interdisk B.V.)
Mid-1980s: Municipality acquired grounds at Blekersvaartweg 45 for redevelopment. According to reports, pressing plant "Cruquius" was located there and was owned by Bell-Sound Records B.V., a company from nearby Aerdenhout that was run by Mr. Duisterhof
This copy should be from the 60's decade according the stamp.
Sounds very clear and open stage.

Funny thing: the cover and the labels all say „Live at the Village Vanguard“, but the actual pressing is „Live at the Village Vanguard Again!“, both sides with Naima and My Favorite Things. Does anyone else has this?

I have this album 2 version which is YP and this SR verison. In my compare SR version is much better than YP. Bass, horn, piano sounds are dynamic. I higly recommend this king sr pressing.

This pressing is great. Going in blind, I'd guess this was a reissue at least on the level of the Blue Note Tone Poet stuff. Horns are smooth with great tone. One of the best Coltrane records I have ever heard. Hands down. Take a listen to this and you’ll be jealous you weren’t there for that. The track “Spiritual” alone is simply incredible. There is a top notch band at play here aside from Coltrane: Dolphy on Bass Clarinet, Tyner on Piano, Workman on Bass, and Elvin Jones on the drums.. The pressing is tight, nice thick stock jacket, pretty standard stuff for the Impulse label in that era. What makes this particular album so great is the range displayed by Coltrane.. there’s the off the chain and wild playing he’s almost always known for, but some very metered and pacifying work here too. If you’re a jazz fan and especially if you’re into Coltrane and you see this album: GRAB IT.
