Nocturnus – The Key

The Czechoslovakian CD pressing (made by GZ) is 100% clone of the original UK CD https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/398821-Nocturnus-The-Key thus the sound is exactly the same as the other. This CD is a great alternative to the UK/US CD release since they're expensive in the second-hand market nowadays.

I have this Version. Anyone know how much it is worth????

Printed out a new disc: greasy stains from fingers; the vinyl looks like it was listened to every day for a year; a lot of clicks; very quiet recording. I was dissatisfied with the purchase...

The sound is too low, I do not recommend this edition at all!

Is there any way to distinguish the new press floating around from this one? I don’t want to get burned again

I just got this one at a record store (it has the runout MOSH23FDR). Mine is not pressed too quietly at all, in fact it's very loud at my usual listening volume. The vinyl itself was pretty dirty with manufacturer's scuffs, but other than some crackle at the very beginning I'm not hearing any noise. The mastering of the music sounds great. The cover is not too dark. There must be different versions of this going around.

Very poor digipack as all Earache FDR , no booklet with lyrics

I bought one direct from their site recently, and I am thinking they have repressed it. Mine is defect free, aside from the BS atrociously dark cover. The sound is impeccable on mine though.

Much like others have said, the audio quality of this release is fine but the cover art and lack of liner notes. We buy the physical releases specifically for the lyrics, artwork and so forth. This is even below bootleg levels here. It's like Earache took a xerox and made a copy of it. Everything is blurry. Avoid this version!

Bought this before i saw the reviews snap crackle pop and have to crank my receiver to even hear anything absolute trash reissue waste of almost $40 with shipping.
Earache living on their past accomplishments as usual all the recent issue have been horrible.
