If you're looking for a NY psych outfit moonlighting as a UK acid folk-pop group, look no further! Lots of baroque instrumentation, sublime male-female vocal harmonies...and the male vocalist even works in a random English accent here and there. All vetted by Zappa as an up-and-coming band (which of course didn't happen). Still makes for a solid psych one-off!

Chrysalis were another interesting group from NYC, who, along with label mates
The Velvet Underground, were pioneers of the late 60's emerging art rock movement.
They were short lived, and only released this one LP before disbanding. The album
cover design is very "artsy" indeed.
