Top notch vinyl. I'm always glad when I put it on. Pretty hard to fault. Classic Doors. Classic Doors sound. -
Holy crap! I put this on, expecting nothing. Cut loud. But it just pops! Bass isn't super deep but it's solid and constantly surprised me.

Edited one month agoThis sounds Absolutely Fantastic in Every way. I have the AP 45 rpm editions of the debut, Strange Days, Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman. I’m getting rid of all of them and replacing them with these. Those 45 rpm’s just aren’t worth all of the side flipping and it got annoying Real Fast. I’ve since acquired Mint DCC pressings of the debut and Strange Days. So I don’t need those. The DCC pressings of those two albums will Never be bested Ever. The DCC pressing of LA Woman is GROSSLY over valued/priced, so I’ll take the RFH (which is in transit to me now). Replacement complete. These are That Good! -
This album is hands down my best sounding record in my collection. Bought it very cheap, did not expect it to be a first pressing.

Edited 2 months agoThis is not a counterfeit. It was released officially and all 6 albums have the same green vinyl.
This version is the 40th Anniversary mixes.

Yeah, does not compare AT ALL to an original pressing. One example is the organ breaks on Waiting for the Sun are weak on this pressing, while on an original, they practically make your hair wave in the wind. Not a doors fan myself, but I've compared the two and hands down, this is an affordable, yet flaccid sounding pressing. Do yourself a favor and save up for an original pressing! -
