I prefer this live/ stripped versions on side 3-4. these are best sounding, even a Sam Phillips recording from Nashville is here. Nice booklet too.

I have to say as a huge Patsy fan I am over the moon with this release. In fact for me, it is the best RSD release in years. It's nicely presented and the booklet is great. I've been collecting Patsy albums on vinyl since the early 1990s and I've come across some terrible sounding pressings in that time that don't do Patsy's voice, and the music behind it, any justice at all. This compilation of lost recordings which have never been pressed on vinyl before sound amazing. Some of these songs such as Have I Told you Lately That I Love You, and the duet Let's Go to Church, I've never heard before, so it's all new and even some of the classic Patsy tunes such as Yes, I Understand, can be heard in a different style for the first time too. It's like discovering her for the first time all over again. It's magical to have some new Patsy material 62 years after her untimely departure from the world. I can't understand why more people were not focused on this release in the lead up to RSD but I can understand how it's commanding the high prices on Discogs that it is. R.I.P Patsy.

Wonderful release, incredible insert, sounds amazing on my little system. The first track had me a little worried as it is questionably listenable due to the archival quality, but as you listen through the record it only highlights the progression of her career. Certainly one of my prized possessions :)

This is amazing and they sound incredible considering the age of the recordings. This was a massive project with remastering engineers, Plangent processing, tape and acetate transfers, wow and flutter correction, Country Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, and so many named in the credits. The vinyl is dead quiet, people are not aware that the "noise" is coming from the recordings and not the vinyl. This was a labor of love delivered by a large team of people who put ion into this project. We should be very grateful that so many people put time and love into this project, we are very lucky to have it in our hands.

Awesome collection of lost recordings. There is some noise in the recordings but the pressing is fine.

For example, it’s noted in the included booklet that the first two tracks, which do feature some very noticeable noise, are sourced from “a 78 rpm WARL acetate from this period, but the performances may have been taped by late 1953.”

Set your expectations appropriately for a collection of lost recordings from the 50s and early 60s and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This is a super noisy pressing. I am pretty disappointed. Save your money for the repress and let the scalpers have 'em.
