Kate Bush – The Whole Story

Poor audio quality. Wuthering heights sound like from a tin box. Content is great, but reccomend to listen to the orginal releases.

Wuthering Heights (New Vocal) muss nicht sein, ansonsten gut. Pressung DMM, Fragen?, dann nachsehen, gibt Möglichkeiten...

Sounds good. Besides the cover image quality I wouldn’t have suspected it was a bootleg if I were just listening to it. Mine is a slightly yellowed clear color with white splattered in it.

Reviewing every record in my collection;

Wow wow wow wow wow UNBELIEVABLE! The sound on this pressing is literally Immaculate, the amount of details one can hear in the background and how "Clean" it sounds, this must be, with no doubt, one of the best sounding Records in my collection. I own an Argentinian first press and the differences are evident, go for this UK first press if possible; you won't regret it one bit. I'm still amazed they haven't reissued this record, especially with Kate's boom that happened because of Stranger Things, a greatest hits compilation for all of those who wanted to bite in and start diving into Kate, to me it's a no brainier. But well, if only it makes this first press more valuable.

An excellent collection of songs on an equally presented pressing. I thoroughly enjoy the journey this all encoming soundstage is taking me on. This is the way, step inside.

V good pressing. Very dynamic. The production is great. The drums could be a bit louder but the music especially the synths is superb. Still sounds cutting edge - don't know how she did it! I like the new vocal on 'Wuthering Heights'. Probably my favourite 'best of' LP's. Tour De Force.

Nice compilation of a great artist. Good pressing, mastering is a bit harsh in the high frequencies, to my taste at least. Could be my equipment (Ortofon 2M Blue, Technics SL-1500C) or because it's DMM....But it's full of detail, and deep bass, especially on Breathing.

In reference to variant 2. A fine sounding edition of this Kate compilation from yesteryear. Complete version of Army Dreamers, who knew, and not embedded with echo like this edition, Kate Bush - The Whole Story.

I love the new vocal wuthering heights, but the pressing DOESNT do the song justice whatsoever, sounds super flat and muddy, even if my speakers are moderately low.

Counterfeit copy now seen in brown variant across eBay and the likes. Best to avoid, zero royalties go to the artist, plus the copy pressing isn't great at all. 1986 first pressing is the one in plain old black vinyl!
