Notes
Six known UK versions:
(1) AXIS label, AXIS 3. Original release with standard brown AXIS labels in paper sleeve.
(2) Beggars Banquet red label, BEG 37. Pressed after the AXIS label had learned that there was another company claimed that name.
(3) 4AD blue label, BEG 37. Blue 4AD labels with Beggars Banquet catalog number on both center labels and rear of sleeve. Large round cut notch (8.8 cm) on rear of cardstock sleeve, and deep doughnut-shaped stamping radius (4.4 cm across). Variant with paper sleeve, and small round cut notch (7.3 cm) known to exist.
(4) 4AD blue label, BEG 37. Blue 4AD labels with Beggars Banquet catalog number on center labels only. Has the same cardstock sleeve, artwork, and stamping radius (3.3 cm) as AD 3 below, but with a small round cut notch (7.3 cm) on rear of sleeve.
(5) 4AD blue label, AD 3. Standard 1980 blue and white labels, with a square cut notch (12.7 cm) on rear of cardstock sleeve.
(6) 4AD black and white label, AD 3. Reissue with "nude wrestling" labels, most likely in 1982.

referencing Dark Entries (7", Single) AXIS 3
According to Spiral Scratch, magazine, 2300, of this Axis, edition were pressed!....
A promo pack, of AXIS 1.AXIS 2, AXIS 3 & AXIS 4, were sent out, to promote the new label, and it's acts....I'm sure there was a press release for the 4 included.... probably a 100 sets, or less
