This is such a great album, man…. Every track on here absolutely rips. Sammy’s voice is at its peak (in my opinion), Eddie’s guitar playing is as good as ever if not somewhat better, Mike’s bass playing is, as always, great, his backing vocals work great and Al’s drums hit harder and angrier than ever. The anger-drenched tone of this album may turn some people off to it, but if they were to look past it, they’d see and hear a ripping, unrelenting workout in hard rock. Tracks like “Aftershock”, “Don’t Tell Me”, “Feelin’” and “Big Fat Money” rock way harder than they have any right to do, and songs like “Not Enough” and “Take Me Back” are some of the best balladeering the band had done in years. The best Sammy album, and one of the best out of all three singers (yes, DLR fanboys, this is better than 1984.) 11/10

Yep. Repressed and remastered….but , strike 1, part of a set ‘Van Halen Collection 2’, which is all 4 Sammy albums. Strike 2, didn’t fix the track order. Same as original. Extraordinarily disappointing. Hard .

The sound is okay, but my supplier had an issue with all of their copies being pressed off-center. Seems like a bad pressing run.

Over all I enjoyed this as an avid Van Halen Fan... However I do understand about Baluchitherium which on the CD I normally skip along with Doin' Time and Strung Out. While I enjoy Eddie's Noddling for the most part, it's better saved for live performances...

Even being out of order track wise it makes for a new way to listen to the album....

If your a Van Halen fan and can find this I highly recomend it... I found this as well as Van Halen III in a record store on the same day...
