Fantastic album, but I really wish it could've came in a regular jewel case rather than a digisleeve. I try to take care of my discs as best I can and yet this one is still super scratched from how it sits in the sleeve. -

Both more pastoral and more massive than previous Hum albums. My fave Hum experience. -

This packs one hell of a punch. And the frequencies are unlike anything I’ve heard on wax (except, perhaps, the MBV reissues). Side A eases you in, but by the end of Side B you’re so submerged in the sonics that the gentle tick of the runout groove is a sudden wake up. It might be a bit too bass-y for some, but if your system is more neutral it will be fine. The record is loud too. If it wasn’t for my nostalgic love of their earlier releases, this album would be my favourite. -
