Aldous Harding – Designer

Aldous Harding is one of a kind. Her music is a blessing for all who can appreciate it. The vinyl is quiet, and all the dynamics are represented in this mastering. A must-have if you are a Harding fan.

Hannah Sian Topp (aka, Aldous Harding) has a gorgeously sweet voice. If you've had a hard day listen to this instead of getting stoned drunk.

My copy sounds great. The record is flat, dead quiet and music is crisp, clear, bright but still warm and seems to have a full acoustic breath. Really nice listen.

I have the Gold pressing and it sounds excellent, do people have dodgy needles?

So many complaints about coloured vinyl, but usually all fine to me. Only recent example was a few of the tracks on the glow in the dark Spiritualized Pure Phase.

Beautiful album that’s super easy on the ears. Had no idea I ordered such a limited edition run. Side B is pretty noisy in parts and record arrived with visuals scuffing.

Side B is essentially unplayable on my copy. Major bummer with such a beautiful album.

Ever the idiosyncratic troubadour, New Zealand’s Aldous Harding returns for perhaps her sweetest and folksiest record. Much like Weyes Blood and Sharon Van Etten’s albums, pretty much every track is a winner.

Mine was warped. Avoid this pressing. Where is the quality control?? Very sad. :(

The music is 5 stars, the gold pressing, not so much. Black pressing is the way to go.
