ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS EVER, PERIOD.
This pressing is amazing, it has some pops on Side A and D but the sound quality is breathtaking.
Also it's very cheap to find, at least, in Italy it's available on Amazon for 25 Euros which, in my opinion, for a double album it's a steal.

If you still didn't listen to this album, well, lucky you, I'd like to listen to it for the first time ever again too.

Excellent pressing with a near complete lack of surface noise. I'd die for these silly hugging dogs.

The music itself is incredible!

But I am very disappointed with the quality of the actual tape.

I bought mine when they re-released in 2018 and have always kept it stored in a cool/dry place since then. Finally acquired a tape deck in the past few days and gave it its first spin. Side A sounded fine, but as soon as I flipped to Side B, there was volume fluctuation and a slow whirring. I RR/FFd the tape front to back twice and ensured the spools spun freely. Put the tape back in on Side A and the same volume fluctuation and whirring happened there. Cycled through this once more and hit play again, and the tape partially unspooled in my tape player. I removed it and found that a substantial part of the tape had become bent and folded. This hasn’t happened with any other tapes I’ve played on this deck — all of which were stored in the same way, and most of which are decades older. Suggests the tape quality was bad, which is a huge let down.

It’s possible mine was a fluke, but I’m curious if others have experienced something similar?

Anyone have one of these? Willing to pay highest price it's sold for (atm $100)

this is a good album and all both of them are but my stupid ass paid like $40 for this lol

This cd is pretty cool but it seems there are a couple misprints (my face to face cd says 2016 lmfao) but it doesn't matter to me because well its the only misprint i have in my collection, im infinitely happy about having it and mostly i was scared the cd would be bleak without any colors or anything but its just so cool and the paintings just fit so well with the lyrics and the music

mine came with a scratch enough to skip part of "beach life in death" and the second disc.....is actually not the rest of the album at all but van halen's "fair warning." i wish this was a joke.

i love this record she is my pride and joy. i think the reason the first half is labeled “mirror to mirror” is because the first half of the album contains hope about the relationship while the mirror breaks (wink) during “face to face”! i absolutely adore this album and all that went into the themes present in it (the locked groove as an allegory made me especially excited to get her on vinyl). overall a 10/10 in my eyes.
