Mine had a “manufactured by Rhino Records; exclusively distributed by Scorpio Music Inc” small sticker bottom back right corner on shrink. Not orange

The album music is fantastic 10/10 the quality of the recording and pressing on this version however can’t be recommended. The orange color is cool but the sound quality isn’t so good in my opinion.

Seems good mastering but not clean sounding likely due to the paper sleeve.
Why bother with AAA mastering just to use a paper sleeve???

This Meters LP sounds great! Nice color vinyl too, great reissue

The Meters records all sound great regardless of format because they are recorded to sound very phat and alive. You cant screw them up surely?
Look forward to comparing to the excellent MOV pressing. My guess is this will sound 10% better but be somewhat noisier of press.

What a massive sounding record ! Powerfull and detailled. Jackpot and KG did a wonderful reissue

My copy of this release is perfectly flat and centered. Exceptionally NICE example. It's got fantastic fidelity and sound just superb when cranked to a level to scare the neighbors. Oops. It just skipped. WTF.

Ok after wet cleaning it's playing really nice. No skipping. No pops. Plays really NICE.

Jackpot is a great name for this label. I guess it means if you get a good one, you hit the Jackpot? Just kidding...

Paper inner sleeves super cheap choice got immediately swapped for something decent. Record edges a little rough. Memphis, get a sharper knife on that pressing machine please.

Not complaining at all about this purchase since my OG copy is barely VG+ and was a real bitch to find...

This pressing seems to hold up well to abuse. I found a beat up copy with lots of surface marks and it sounds quite good still.

This sounds really good. Very silent and very dynamic. Highly recommended.
