Matsushita Media Manufacturing was a CD-R and DVD manufacturing plant located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, opened in April 1994 by PDSC), a subsidiary of Matsushita Electric Ind. Co., Ltd., to establish Matsushita Media Manufacturing LLC of America, a company that aimed to increase DVD and other optical disc manufacturing capabilities available to both Eastman Kodak and Panasonic, including at Eastman Kodak's plant in Guadalajara. The plant then came under the name Matsushita Media Manufacturing.

In late 2001, Eastman Kodak decided to cease CD-R manufacturing operations, and sold its 49% share of Matsushita Media Manufacturing LLC to PDSC. Matsushita Electric sold PDSC to Technicolor, Guadalajara, Mexico.

Matsushita Media Manufacturing, Guadalajara, Mexico can be identified by 'MMM-M' in the disc matrix, often in combination with 'MADE IN MEXICO' and mould SID code IFPI KK**. Do not credit this manufacturer on releases made after 2002 based on IFPI KK** when 'MMM' is not present in the matrix.
