Discovery Systems

Defunct CD manufacturer that mainly made small runs for Warner Bros. labels and U.S. radio stations. Some of their discs are now unplayable due to manufacturing defects.
1985: Founded as Discovery Systems, Inc.
October 1986: Audio CD manufacturing begins.
1988: In bankruptcy, reorganizes and becomes Discsystems.
1989: Under partial new ownership, merges with Metatec Corporation and shifts focus to CD-ROMs and audio CDs for syndicated radio programs.
