What are some of your favorite percussion-only tracks? Tracks with just drum machines and maybe added effects processors, but no synths or basslines or anything. I imagine most probably fall into the techno/tekno/hardcore genres.
Some of my favs:
Parrot Torture - Call The Doctor
Roland Casper - Son Of Mono -

Probably Plastikman's 'Spastik' & 'Spaz'. And Dutch counterpart, Dwarf 'Percussion Electrique". -

Two that immediately come to mind are:
Designer Music - Good Girls
Random Generator - Zone Paging
Both feature on Carl Craig's DJ-Kicks mix from back in 96.

Is The Good Men 'Give It Up' authorized, because of its melody and hook (?), with horns?

How can I forget Spastik...lol. Good ones.
Not sure I could, because I thought those were too classic tracks.
EDT: once again, *cheat mode*, activated, but there is the classic second part of the classic Armand Van Track's 'Nrongo Ra Mrongo' and, *cheat mode*, off, the Robin S 'I Want To Thank You' Africa version by David Morales, you can't go any further percussion than this. I don't know if you like the house vibe, though. -

Definitely not, it's pretty laden with melody and samples and stuff - I wouldn't include it.
"I Want To Thank You (Africa)" definitely fits the bill, though.
Some of PWOG's tracks may fit as well, iirc. -

I think this track is pretty much just a 606 and some distortion effects.

Beltram was a master of "less is more". -

Good one! Completely forgot about that one. I don't think the kick is a 606, though, but the rest of the percussion is. -

These aren't absolute favourites. I can never pick favourites of anything anyway.
KWax - A Drum A Drum >> AFX* - Analogue Bubblebath Vol 3 .55278037732581 not sure if this one counts. Are they effects or synths?
Love the drum programming and effects on Drum War Jerome Hill - The Creeper. Yes, parts of it are very reminiscent to something very famous and already mentioned in this thread.
There are loads and loads of stripped down percussive 90s Tribal House records which used to be played alongside prog house tunes without basslines or synth leads, but I'm generally not too fond of them to be honest. -

A lot of the ones I can think of have been given already. One obvious one is missing that never fails to do the trick:
Pilldriver - Pitch-Hiker
Guess, those belong too:
Wax - Drum & Hi-Hats
Woody McBride - Xtraz
Belgica Wave Party - Filler
Food For Woofers - Bone Crusher, Hypno Express and Basic Beats -

something from this year: Authentically Plastic - Strakka - I think this counts. The background just sounds it could just very long reverb tails processing.

There is some Industrial/Rhythmic Noise stuff which is also basically just heavily processed/distorted drums/percussion like few other things mentioned in this thread or like Metel by Cylob. -

This sounds like a perfect question for ericcloutier I'm almost certain he recorded a mix a couple years back that was percussion only or percussion less tracks. I can't which one it was.
Also look into old Utility Plastic, , 00A tracks. This mix by Richard Turner might be up your alley

I went to a concert last night where they performed Danny Elfman's Percussion Concerto. Was fine and good, later was looking to see if there was a recording of it. No luck, but found this album which had another of Elfman's composition - https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/23436218-Third-Coast-Percussion-Perspectives. On that album was another track composed by Jlin, which was a standout - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wR4jy9NXM0. Not electronic, but thought worth mentioning. -
